Starting October 10, MCC Gallery will present, in its annex, the work of Rita G. Rivera, a Spanish artist and designer whose artistic approach is distinguished by a sensitive exploration of mediums and territories. The House Where Trees Dream reflects this singular vision, where narrative and the poetry of everyday life take center stage.
Dividing her time between Spain and Morocco, her career has led her to engage with disciplines such as sculpture, photography, and illustration, which she approaches with great finesse. A recipient of distinctions such as the Iridiscente Prize (2023) for El Gran Sol and the Follas Novas Prize (2021), Rita G. Rivera also co-founded in Tetouan, together with artist Amine Asselman, the ceramic studio SANIA, a space dedicated to creation and transmission.
