As part of its off-site program, MCC Gallery takes over the vibrant Riad El Fenn in Marrakech to present a selection of works by Malika Sqalli.
A multidisciplinary artist born in Rabat and living between Austria and Morocco, Malika Sqalli explores the human and spiritual quest for meaning through her practice. Her project 1001 Knots, 1001 Steps, 1001 Stories weaves a sensitive connection between body, earth, and sky, using parachute fabric, aerial photography, and a holistic reflection on movement, resilience, and transformation.
Within the living setting of the riad, Malika’s works resonate with its colors, light, and organic architecture. The exhibition becomes a shared breath, where art blends seamlessly with space—between inner contemplation and openness to the world.
